Gasthof Vogelsang in Zellingen

The quality of the pizza has deteriorated extremely. With today's pizza to go, the sauce only tasted salty, the pizza was very dark. Since I was looking forward to a good Vogelsang pizza today and was otherwise always satisfied, I am now very disappointed.

Very good breakfast, the rooms were big enough. Despite the main street right next to it, it was pleasantly quiet in the room and you could sleep well. Any time.

When two men and a dog 🐕 share a room, it can be irritating. The room was much too small if you were traveling with a dog and the bathroom was even smaller. The carpets in the hallways looked very dirty. The room was only cleaned after the first overnight stay, after that no more, the garbage can and bathroom then looked accordingly😢. The shower only had a curtain (which is not a bad thing) but considering the size the whole bathroom was under water 💦 (even if hardly any water came out of the shower head). The dinner was really good, but at breakfast there was no service and when someone came, it was the poor cleaner who vacuumed between the toilet cleaning and the hallway and had to supply the guest room with the corresponding body odor that you couldn't blame. The location of the hotel is directly on the Main but unfortunately also directly on the train and the expressway. On the first evening we could still eat comfortably outside when the weather was nice, on the second evening that was unfortunately no longer possible 😢 and I think it was due to the lack of pleasure of the waiters. Basically the concept is correct and this rating should only serve as an indication that something should change! We wish you every success with the implementation 👍

Unfortunately disappointing Room was not really clean (possibly because of Corona but is still no excuse). People was very rude. Breakfast was delicious despite all the circumstances. CONCLUSION: Completely overpriced rooms with a good breakfast!

I always like to come here with my friends and holiday guests. Friendly staff despite Corona times full beer garden. Super tasty cuisine and delicious dishes. Always highly recommended.

A clean hotel under a very friendly management and friendly staff 👍 The food is simply excellent what you order from the menu. Only most of the rooms are a bit old, otherwise there would definitely be 5 stars

probably this building was demolished after our departure?!? Dirty, completely outdated and friendliness looks different with me. 2 stars instead of 1 star ...... Why I do not know. Actually it should only be one.

The rooms are except for some dust on the not daily used areas and the curtains years ago the last time a washing machine from the inside have seen ok. The bathrooms are small but in a very good condition. The restaurant is a bit old but in good condition. The staff is attentively attentive and polite without being intrusive. Summary: Room 2 stars and 2 for the staff.

Totally loved this place! Everything was so clean, neat and well arranged. The host was very nice and welcoming - apparently she lived in Romania for a few years and she still remembered some words. The hotel's restaurant had delicious traditional recipes (see the photos) and good beer for reasonable pricing, so i totally recommend eating there.
